WHAT IS THE THAILAND PRIVILEGE VISA?

The Thailand Privilege Visa is a long-term residency program managed by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Originally launched in 2003, the program allows foreign nationals to reside in Thailand for extended periods through a membership-based scheme. Upon joining, members receive a long-term multiple-entry visa, VIP immigration services, and access to a range of premium lifestyle benefits.

Thailand Privilege Visa Requirements

Applicants for the Thailand Privilege Visa must generally meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid foreign passport with sufficient validity and blank pages.

• Have no history of overstaying a visa in Thailand.

• Be permitted to enter Thailand under Thai immigration laws.

• Not have been sentenced to imprisonment (except for offences committed through negligence).

• Receive immigration approval for the application.

• Pay the membership fee for the selected Thailand Elite package.

• Certain premium membership tiers may impose minimum age requirements, subject to the conditions of each package.

Applicants holding certain visa types may be required to provide additional documentation during the application process.
